So the holidays have started. Argh, I'm going to be bored.
Subject selections. It's kind of frightening, really. I know this sounds cliched as crazy, but in all seriousness, Year 7 felt like last week. And now I'm picking what subjects I want to do for Year 11 and 12. It's just really weird.
The talks today were pretty interesting. For a moment, I was swayed towards Ancient History instead of Modern (like I had planned). Luckily, this disappeared pretty quickly, and I still have a solid idea of what I want to do. All the talks, in my opinion, went on about The talk in period 7&8 were interesting, and entertaining. But more than half the stuff I already knew, and the other half were just a couple of rumours confirmed.
Also, how surprising was it when Ms. Robinson said "blogs" (although I think she meant the forum, but all the same, it was pretty shocking)?
My subjects? Well, I've been indecisive about whether or not I'm doing Ext1 English or not. Yesterday I wanted to do it, and then the subject selection meeting scared me into doing Adv, and as of 15 minutes ago I want to do Ext1 again. But here's the final set.
Ext1 English (3), Ext1 Maths (3), Legal Studies (2), Modern History (2), Chemistry (2).
That's 12 units in total. 3 of those subjects are going to haunt me because my essay skills are pretty terrible. Guess which 3.
Also, there was something else on my mind I was going to post about but I forgot what.
It can wait 'till next time (whenever that is).
Dotdotdot.
